Emigre Creative Papers

Founded in 1984 by Rudy VanderLans and Zuzana Licko, Emigre is the first name in digital fonts. Under the couple’s creative direction, letterforms do more than make words: they are also building blocks for eye-grabbing computational patterns. As two Bay Area bastions of typography, Emigre and Letterform Archive have a long-standing relationship. Now, Letterform Archive has commissioned Zuzana Licko to create 16 pieces of original digital artwork made from her popular typefaces such as Tangly, Puzzler and Lo-Res Outlined.
