Sedicesimo 80: La Tigre

Focalising the Milan-based independent design practice LaTigre, 'Inizio, Mezzo, Fine' is the third chapter in the series titled “Gradiente Linguistico”, part of an ongoing exploration of the concept of transition. LaTigre was founded and is directed by Luisa Milani and Walter Molteni. Since 2009 the studio has developed a visual language that is clean and sophisticated, combining structured design thinking with a distinctive and consistently surprising aesthetic lightness. Their formal research is characterised by visual synthesis and a vibrant use of colour, where the boundary between abstraction and figuration often dissolves. Internationally recognised, the studio provides creative consultancy focused on developing visual solutions for a wide range of clients – both local and global. Since its inception, LaTigre has collaborated with Apple, MaxMara Group, Bulgari, IBM, The New York Times, The New Yorker, Phaidon, Abitare, Bitossi Home, and many others.
