Anderson's atmospheric work captures dramatic scenes that quietly reference intensely personal narratives, and span multiple genres - from portraits and still lives to wild and domesticated landscapes and suburban tableau. Features essays by Hanna Scott and poet David Eggleton. Anderson has various connections to Australia - she completed a Master of Visual Arts Degree at Sydney College of the Arts in New South Wales in 2006, her work has been shown various Australian galleries including AGNSW and the Australian Centre of Photography. The book is curated and designed by New Public, offering a fresh juxtapositions of images from a wide range of series and one-off artist books Greta made over the decades, from the classic Stand-ins (2001), Uncomfortable Conversations (2005), Optimistic Tragedy (2008), to more recent No Hording (2021) and The Transcenders (2021).
