For the XXI Triennale in Milan, the Soprintendenza Belle Arti e Paesaggio has interepreted the theme 'Design After Design' in Umbracula, a pavilion inspired by the mulberry trees in the Sala Delle Asse in the Castello Sforzesco and by natural forms such as sponges, leaves, and the light and shadow filtered through the branches of trees. Two 'Savi' from Fausto Melotti's sculptural group called 'La Disputa dei Sette Savi di Atene', of 1960-1962, were shown in Umbracula.
